Curve
Curve is a lamp which is formed by 2 curved lines and hexagon shaped cut outs which create an abstract form bringing together the mix between smooth and geometric lines. The lamp exhibits the characteristics of being elegant, having a mix of curved and geometric lines, an artistic and decorative aesthetic, of simple form and lightweight.
Wooden Accessories
This project was designed for the company "Filbo" in Milan, Italy as a relaunch of the company by means of a new product. The idea behind the project is to create a line of accessories that can be adorned by both men and women using the traditional methods, techniques and materials used currently within the company. This new accessory is made from leather and flexible wood that uses a specialized form of production and will further develop the precision and uniqueness of the material. The product is made as an interactive item where one can assemble the piece (which starts off as 2D) to create the accessory (in 3D).

Hourglass
Hourglass is a product inspired by the city of Despina described in Italo Calvino's book "Invisible Cities". The aim of this project was to incorporate the idea that the city acts as a shelter between two vast entities; the desert and the sea. The city is desirable and can be seen from many points of view. From the desert, one would see the city as a ship setting sail to new lands with soft breezes and cool waters. From the sea, one would see the city as a camel caravan with warm sand, swaying palm trees and women dancing barefoot. The hourglass portrays Despina in the time of its existence. The sand represents the desert. On one side, the shape of a ship is revealed as the sand pours representing the sea and on the other is a model of the city that is gradually covered with time and vice versa depicting the mystery of Despina.
Asili
“Asili”, meaning “Nature” in Kiswahili, is a unique object with dual functionality. Designed as a vase styled from various body parts, namely the neck, arm and leg, it also acts as a stand for the accompanying jewellery, which can be directly adorned onto the body.
Asili is created from natural materials (copper and clay) found in the Earth’s core and directly translates the beauty and significance of tribal adornment, inspired by three tribes in Kenya namely the Maasai, Samburu and Turkana. Each piece is hand made, unique and has a dual functionality as well as a colourful aesthetic beauty. The collection is a work of art.
This project was presented as my thesis in the last year of university.

Darkness
Darkness is a mini paper art book cut out to resemble the layers of a rose using a gradient of greyscale coloured paper ranging from black to white.
The concept behind the book is to portray that darkness can also be found
in beautiful places; in this case a rose, whereby the inner layers of the rose petals are buried in shadow while the outer layers of rose petals are bathed
in light thus showing the transition of darkness.
